Gümüşhane walnut köme is also known as walnut sausage in different regions. The secret comes from selected walnuts soaked in a special marmalade syrup. The naturalness of the ingredients used in its production belongs to the Gümüşhane region. It is one of the healthy snacks you can eat due to its high energy value, mineral and vitamin store. Gümüşhane walnut köme, which can be consumed at any time of the day, is specially produced according to your request.

 

How to Make Walnut Köme?

The emergence of the walnut köme, whose production stages are extremely elaborate, brings patience.  Gümüşhane mulberry molasses, honey, sugar and water are boiled together to make must. Add milk and flour with a whisk. This step should not lead to lumps, therefore slowness is important. The resulting mixture is called Herle.

Each selected walnut is strung on strings, then dipped in the köme herles and allowed to dry. This step is performed three times. In the fourth and last stage, the walnut köme is dried. Then it is the turn to be meticulously packaged to reach you.
